Job Overview
Improve Quality performance in the Region
Lead Regional Quality Team. Represent Region in Global Quality Council
Lead and/or support Global and Regional Quality Improvement projects
Ensure robust customer complaint investigation
Maintain ISO 9000 certification for region
Ensure regional lab team is functioning and utilizing best practices
Ensure plant compliance with audits and management reviews of regional management team
Administer quality databases for plants and supply chain users
Issue monthly quality report for region
Train new plant quality leader employees in region.
Respond to regional customer quality inquiries and surveys
Integrate acquired businesses into Solenis Quality program
Contract manufacturer or supplier quality audit
Major responsibilities:
-Lead Regional Quality Team. Monthly meetings to update information and work together on best practices, incident responses, and quality improvements.
-Lead or participate in Global or Regional Quality improvement projects with other Solenis SC and Commercial personnel by sharing information and be involved in several global projects.
-Attending and supporting daily Quality issues including Solenis Incident Reporting System (SIRs). Could involve direct customer interaction including visits.
-Training facilitator (Quality system, ISO, Continuous Improvements, Root Cause Analysis). Develop and Implement Quality Strategy for Region.
-Develop and Implement Quality Strategy for Region.
-Prepare and Lead Quality monthly discussion with Solenis regional management
-Leading internal plant audits in region
Requirements:
-BS Degree-Chemistry, Quality Engineering or Equivalent Experience
Laboratory, Quality, and/or product support experience preferred.
-Specific knowledge in ISO Quality Standards; Lead auditor certification is preferred
-SAP QM Module experience a plus
-Lotus Notes database knowledge a plus
-Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Black Belt, or equivalent Project -Management skills helpful
-Demonstrated ability to work well with others across organization (internally and externally)
-Leadership skills within group of peers
-Written and verbal communication
-Ability to work as a team member
-Demonstrated analytic capability and problem solving skills including risk analysis
-Demonstrated organization skills
-Creating engagement without direct hierarchical influence
Travel frequency: 10-25% within the region
Direct reports: 4
